Today started off on a low note as I missed my bus the first thing this morning. I had just stepped out of the gate when I saw my usual bus zoom past me without stopping. No, I was not late. In fact, I was five minutes earlier than the usual time I leave my house, meaning that the bus was way ahead of schedule. Gritting my teeth, I headed to the bus stop to wait for the next bus, wondering about the bad start to a brand new day. Had been standing there for 10 minutes before I started to get a little bit panicky, because the next was taking such a long time to arrive. I contemplated taking a taxi, but that would be a huge drain on my funds. So I stood there and waited some more. Thank goodness I reached my college on time.
However, the rest of the day went by pretty well and I had managed to uncover some more information about the incident regarding SY (refer to previous journal entry). It turned out that the bulk of the information which I had heard were simply rumours. But it had already been confirmed that SY had done that indespicable act on purpose, making his current infamous reputation worse. Naturally, everyone in my class avoided him today and he was sitting alone in one corner of the classroom with all the rest of my classmates sitting at least two metres away from him. Even though I am a wee bit afraid of encountering him, I do feel a little sorry at the way he is bring treated.
Turning seventeen tomorrow (06 November). Each year seems to pass so fast and I am going through day after day and year after year, getting a little older each time. Keisha bought me an early birthday present which I truly adored as it was a huge novel entitled “Best Of Friends”, something which I had always wanted. I take this book as an indication that our friendship is still going strong. Thanks, Keisha!
But I doubt that I would be enjoying my birthday much tomorrow, as the whole day would be spent at home cramming for my Chinese A levels the day after tomorrow. After reflecting on what I had done for the whole of last week and this week so far, I had realised with a start that I have not even studied at all. Even the free period which I had today had gone to waste as I had dozed off while I was making an attempt to revise through my Chinese notes. It’s high time that I get cracking, knowing that my exam starts in less than 48 hours.
NOTE: Journal would be placed on a short hiatus until Friday afternoon when my exam ends as I have to start spending my time meaningfully by revising as much as possible…

Revising on your birthday is harsh. At least have a little celebration on your day or it would be a waste.
