This senseless song is EVERYWHERE. And worse, my workplace is tuned into a radio station that never fails to play this song every single day, sometimes even twice a day within five hours.
The next time you see Brenda having a seizure in a public place, whether in a departmental store or whichever store, you’ll possibly know the reason why.
And all of a sudden, I’ve developed a phobia to umbrellas.

That’s what happens with popular songs. Maybe bring a pair of earplugs to work so that you can plug your ears whenever the song starts?
I know what you mean. Rinana’s Umbrella (that is the song) is way to popular of a song right now. Every single radio station that I know can’t stop playing it and it is driving me crazy also. Try & keep your head up. Hopefully it won’t last to much longer.
But other then the chorus (which is irritating) it does have a wonderful meaning. You know how a relationship should be able to stand all kinds of weather. :) Thought of this part after I submitted the last comment, sorry.

even though its song is played lots of time in a day, I must laugh every time she (my colleague) sings that ‘ella ella’ part with a face ready to puke :D

LOL I absolutely hate that song as well! While some songs are good, the “goodness” in them die out when it’s overplayed.

The time this happened to me, it was the stupid Ketchup Song.
That’s one of the most annoying songs I’ve ever heard. And it took me forever to figure out it said “umbrella” anyway. I was like, what the hell is an umbuh-rella?” What are the lyrics, anyway? All I ever hear is, “umber-ella, ella, ella” and I don’t think there’s anything else to it.
It amazes me how people become famous these days. I can’t believe people actually ENJOY this kind of stuff.
Yes the song is annoying. PLUS I think it’s ripping off “Zombie” by the Cranberries because of the “eh eh eh” screaming and “gold painted body” in the video:

I’ve been hearing this song too many times lately as well. I can only remember the chorus, but that it already bad enough. It’s seriously overplayed!

That song annoys me to no end! I actually heard a cover made by a guy named Scott Simon or something, and even though he made it much less annoying, it’s the “eh eh eh” sound that still grates at my nerves. =/
that looks terrible… the lyrics. i havent heard it yet, im trying my best to stay away from it. because no matter how bad they are, these types of songs cling to your every bring goo. lol. phobia of umbrellas. lmao
