TitleChocolate cupcakes … successful.

They’re the best chocolate cupcakes I’ve ever tasted, if I dare say so myself.

And no, I am not saying this out of biasness simply because I baked them myself. But indeed, the chocolate sauce I’ve bought last night made the cupcakes oh-so wonderful.

I did mention before that Project Cupcakes was supposed to come along with sugar icing. However, I can’t seem to find the ingredients needed to make the icing. For some reason, the supermarkets here do not seem to carry icing sugar. Either that, or I wasn’t searching hard enough.

Either way, chocolate sauce and rainbow sprinkles have to do the trick for the time being.

Cupcakes!
Yummy, yummy cupcakes.

Steffe seems to be my biggest fan for my cupcakes, to an extent that she’s even popping by my place to collect even more this Friday.

My cupcakes feel so appreciated. :P

Recipe for my chocolate cupcakes within.

Chocolate cupcakes with chocolate sauce and rainbow sprinkles

1) 10 oz. self raising flour
2) 4 oz. brown sugar
3) 3 fresh eggs
4) 5 oz. fresh milk
5) 2 tablespoons sweet condensed milk
6) 2.5 oz. soft butter
7) 6 tablespoons low-fat chocolate sauce

Mix all ingredients together in a mixing bowl, spoon into cupcake pans lined with paper cupcake cups and bake at 180 degrees for 25 minutes. Makes 28 cupcakes in all.

Cool for 15 minutes before topping with even more chocolate sauce and rainbow sprinkles.

Just looking at it makes me hungry :D And I just ate breakfast :D

Btw, if you can’t find icing sugar, you can blend sugar in the blending machine and hey presto! you get sugar :D

They look really tasty! And in your opinion they may not be perfect but I’m sure they’re better than what I can do ’cause I’ve never made them before, haha. I wish I could try them right now, as they look very tasty, so thanks for sharing the recipe! It seems really easy to make. And yet again I have all the ingredients at home but I don’t have cupcake pans / paper cupcake cups. But yay, the shops are open again today so I might try making them sometime soon. Will keep you updated. :) Oh by the way, I hope you had a nice Christmas!

Ooh, they look delish! And so dainty in those rose-patterned paper cupcake cases. I might have to note down your recipe because I’ve not baked cakes at ALL this year and it’s about time I did. Perhaps I should buy myself a dessert book for my upcoming birthday *ponders*
