Brenda Tan, 21, Singapore

Believes she was born with her foot in her mouth, and sprouts the most random nonsense. Has egoistical tendencies, sticks by her principles, extremely hard-headed and a tongue of venom (when provoked). Otherwise, she's a harmless little fart. Really. Easily bribed with Starbucks' hot chocolate and colourful balloons.

TitleGenting, Day 4.

10:19:22 | Travel | Comments

Trying to manage a quick update here at Genting Cybercafe before my remaining minutes of computer usage expires.

Weather was well, misty almost 100% of the time so I was mostly stuck indoors - watching my cousins play at the arcade and basically stuffing myself silly with waffles and all sorts of other junk food. (Oh, and did I mention overspending at the shops here?)

Mind wasn’t really at peace though - continuously worrying about my Final Year Project progress back at Singapore ever since receiving a groupnate’s SMS a couple of days ago regarding a possible meeting today (which is impossible since I’d only be reaching Singapore at 10pm). And the fact that she’s SMSing me certainly means that something urgent must be up.

Cousin’s playing Dota next to me while I’m struggling to gain access to my school email. (Which is next to impossible since I’m getting logged out like once every minute.) And I can’t even draft an email on the sidelines since they disabled ALL other programs other than internet and the stupid mindless games that typical cybercafe users stick their noses in. (Which means NO notepad.)

And I can’t use my laptop either since everyone’s badgering me about playing their movie DVDs on it as soon as I switch it on. Boy, talk about productivity.

(Fuck - five minutes of usage time left. Will make this quick.)

Anyway, Genting Trip’s soon coming to a close. Will miss the company of my cousins and soaking up the atmosphere (my home away from home) here at Genting Highlands.

(Double darn - now there’s a dog’gone countdown appearing on my computer telling me that my time’s almost up. Sounds like I’m going to die or something.)

All right. Toodles!

A proper entry will be up once I return home.
