Straining to listen…

My right ear is blocked again, which means that I currently have partial hearing capability. Listening to my mp3s on the computer is torturing since I have to strain my ear in order to listen to the music, and everything around me seems a few decibels softer. To make matters worse, my ear drops have passed it’s expiry date, so I can no longer use it. Cleaning my ears with a cotton bud, drinking hot water, and knocking my head repeatedly against the wall doesn’t seem to work either.
Perhaps this may be due to heatiness, or most probably lack of sleep, considering the many late nights that I had spent during the holidays. In fact, the time is already 12:37am (midnight) and I am still awake. Going to bed early isn’t my usual habit when I have a long stretch of vacation. Unhealthy habit, I know. However, my repeated attempts to curb this habit seems to be failing.
Meddled around with my digital camera again, and bringing you some more photography starring K.J, the little piglet. I simply cannot understand the reasons behind my current obsession with stuffed toys. Perhaps this another sign of boredom?
Browsing through my journal had me realising that my entries are starting to get shorter and shorter. Not sure whether this is a good sign or a bad sign. There are people who may look at long entries as a sign of long-windedness, which I am, in a way.

The outcome of boredom. Photographs had been taken with my digital camera. Regular visitors may recognise the little puppy as “Sotong”. (more details?) The pink piglet is a new stuffed animal purchased from First World Plaza during my family vacation two weeks back, proudly named K.J.

A UFO sighting?

It was early this morning at around 1:15am and as usual, I stayed up late, working in front of the computer. I was packing up everything and was getting ready to turn in when I glanced out of the window. What I saw outside wasn’t an illusion. It was real. There was this strange object with five blinking lights moving around in circles in the distance, and it certainly does not look like an aeroplane. The usual aeroplanes I see would move in a horizontal direction and it would only have two white lights at the most This particular object had three white and two bright red lights, some of which were continuously flickering away. I panicked immediately and called Keisha to come and take a look. She was shocked at what she saw as well.
Did anyone see anything similar at 1:15am last night? Especially those people who live in the East Coast area. I am not sure what that object was, but Keisha and I jumped into the conclusion that what we saw was a real life UFO. No aeroplane would travel around in such a perculiar path for no particular reason. It is definitely not a fighter jet as well, as the size of that “object” was a little too big to be an Air Force jet or even a commercial aeroplane.
So what on earth is it??
It is a huge pity that I didn’t have my camera with me at that moment otherwise I would be standing out at my balcony, busily snapping away. What was mentioned above definitely doesn’t sound believable, but I missed the one and only chance to prove what I saw by not taking any snapshots of it.
Now don’t mention that UFOs don’t exist as it hasn’t been scientifically proven yet. There may be a parallel universe out there for all we know, only that it hasn’t been discovered yet. Other than that, there may also be even more high technologically powered worlds out there in the many large galaxies which surround us. If a parellel universe really exists, I would really wonder if there would be yet another Brenda Tan sitting in front of her computer and typing furiously out there…
Or maybe I am just hallucinating… I need some sleep…
